Cannot find the script file "C:\ProtectFile.VBS" problem of cd drive ejecting automatically!!!

Recently there was this virus in my computer which automatically ejects the cd drives in my computer when opening any drive or folder.

I am not sure whether to call this virus or something which change some kind of settings in my computer.

Under this situation the whenever you try to open a drive from my computer it showed the message that:

cannot find the script file "C:\ProtectFile.VBS" .

The other message it shows when ever your computer is started or restarted is that :
cannot find the script file SecureGuard.VBS

This might be due to the same virus i suppose.
The solution to this problem is given on many websites which suggests to use the latest version of spybot or anything else.
but it dint worked for me, even after trying the latest version of spybot or free AVG 8.
but the solution to this problem is manually deleting this virus from the below instructions.

The cd drive opening problem can be solved by going to the command prompt by typing cmd in run and then typing the following:
c:\

del /f/q/a protectfile.vbs

del /f/q/a autorun.inf

Then you can go the regedit from run and search for securefile.vbs and delete all entries in it.

from the above if you ever found that the file is not found then dont worry deleting the autorun.inf will be enough to solve your problem and which will definitely will not be missing.

now your computer is free from that annoying virus or whatever it was! enjoy ;)
